Break Your Socks - Anti Valentines

No, Break Your Socks isnt a fresh new boy band striaght from the mean streets of Lincoln, its a live music/screen printing event run by some very lovely young men, Rich, Jamie, Luke and Windle.
The BYS evenings are held every couple of months with a certain theme. This being February the theme is Anti-Valentines.
I was lucky enough to have my design printed as one of the tee's to be sold on the night, which is this Thursday (03-02-2011).

Here's a closer look at the four designs.

Some good advice for 2011

Happy New Year! Been along time since a post so I made these, giving you some sound advice in the format of the 'keep calm and carry on' posters!
And another one, just for good measure...

Back To The Future

In 1985, two awesome things came into the world. Late in the year a young boy was born, and that boy would then grow up to be the 'man' thats writing this very post.
But earlier in the year Steven Spielberg took a chance on making a film about time travel, through the aid of a DeLorean.
The film of course is Back To The Future, a film by Robert Zemeciks. It, like me, celebrate 25 years so here's my doodle. Great Scot!

Another old picture found in the hundreds and hundreds of photos we have at home. Again, it was my dads keen eye that took this nice little image.

The Low Anthem

Recently after a recommendation from a friend, I've been listening to a nice little album by a band called The Low Anthem. The album is called Oh My God, Charlie Darwin and its pretty cool so I say you guys check it out.
I drew this picture taking the lyrics from one of the songs Ticket Taker. I thought it was a pretty cute line so I thought why not have a shot at making a nice drawing from it, as its been a long time since I did any doodling of late. Good to see I can still do it as I'm happy with the outcome.
