Another cool idea I saw online here so I had a thought and came up with this mixed message. Try it yourself, its fun-ky.

Continuing the photo and text theme. Here are a few pictures I found in an old album from when me and my famiy visited Virginia, America. I used these cause they have a good feel about them and cause I'm going back in a few weeks to hopefully get some more nice images'. The photographer for these was my dad.

Polaroid Poladroid

A friend at work gave me this sweet little computer app which takes your standard image file and turns it into a Polaroid, so this is my new favourite toy!I took the pictures of my guitar, because its what I spend most of my spare time on...
You can't buy Polaroid film anymore, well only on eBay and its so damn expensive so this will do. Hopefully they'll start making more film and I'll get an actual camera and take some cool Polaroids, cause lets face it, they do look cool! I got the idea from here . And here's an example of some others work (not mine...I wish I could find a model)

Photo and type

In my day I look to surf the net for cool new ideas to try out and today I came across a bunch of cool photos with cute little sayings or song lyrics added to them so I thought I'd give it a go.

This image is actually one of my dads from way back and the song lyric is from Bon Jovi - Its my Life.
I've got a handful of other lyrics to try out so I'll get taking pictures and post some more.

Brussels

Here are a number of things I got up to on a recent visit to Brussels. Instead of drawing some of the wonderful architecture, I drew some bills from resturants and cafes.

But having finished my wondeful beef in beer sauce (a local favourite) I did manage to sketch a nice little resturant that lined the beautiful Grand Place in the centre of Brussels.

Apart from lovely buildings, Brussels was full of awesome graffiti, here are some of my favourites.

another weekend in the capital and some more photography fun. such an easy technique using a SLR and an everyday flashlight, but you can't help but LOVE the results and you'll want to keep doing more and more!
I recommend it to anyone, aslong as you dont mind looking like an idiot for 30 secs, making shapes in the air with a torch. so here is a 3 step guide to making your own

1. get a camera tripod. I picked mine up for £3 from a local charity shop

2. set a long exposure on your SLR, I used 30 secs (you'll notice i forgot the biggest step of this guide which is buy a SLR camera)

3. stand in front on the tripod and camera set-up and make desired shapes within your exposure time.
